Giving Tuesday is coming up, will you share your Thanksgiving with Joy's G.I.F.T.?
Our goal to close out 2018 is to raise $3,000 to cover the minimum campaign cost to start in 2019.

Joy's G.I.F.T.
1) Collaboration, we're stronger in numbers: We're a 501c(3) non-profit helping other organizations mainly other non-profits.
2) Survivors & Staff: We not only help survivors of sexual abuse but we also offer support to train the staff who are caring for them.
3) CDSS: Our method works! Our signature recovery program "Breakthrough the Barriers of Trauma" was approved swiftly by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) for trauma informed care and holistic self-care.
4) Heart to Help: You may have the heart to help but not necessarily called or "wired" to be in this tough environment of doing the work of recovery, restoration and healing of trauma. Let's face it, it's not easy to hear about a child or even an adult tell their horrific stories of torture or abuse without having an impact on you.

6) Stories: when recipients of your contributions show their appreciation with their transformational stories such as these:
“Where I came from is drama; shooting, killings and fighting and I just want help to better myself. My mom passed away when I just turned 16, who am I suppose to turn to for support…really don’t have anybody" --T
from a participant in one of our wellness workshops on emotional trauma and aromatherapy - this person did NOT want to come to the class but she left with a different perception and experience immediately afterwards :)

7) Ripple Effect: your contribution has an impact that causes a ripple effect. Survivors of sexual abuse who are living in the foster care system have the highest vulnerability rates for trafficking, poverty, emotional trauma and addictive/destructive behaviors. Let's help them break this cycle!
8) Reach Back: Maybe you can relate to a story of a survivor because of your own story and you want to reach back to that little kid in you that wants to help.
9) Pay it Forward: You're fortunate enough to give back to others and as a bonus to you, it's a tax benefit.
10) Connected to a Cause: Each individual contribution does matter and you should feel good about it and to know you're connected to a great cause to share your gift with Joy's GIFT that's making a difference.
